This is a gorgeous and bright Tibetan quartz crystal. Double terminated, there are record keeper triangles on several faces and some fascinating glyphs. Ethereal rainbows sparkle and wink like fairies hiding in the mists of the crystal's interior. A few bridge crystals grace the exterior tracing golden healer inclusions around their edges.

These crystals are from the Tibetan province of old, mined at an altitude of 12,000-14,000 feet! These crystals are mined by hand and brought down the mountain in a sack on the back of a yak. They have a wide array of these of formations including golden healer, carbon included, enhydros, elestials, and scepters. Many of these beautiful crystals are double terminated. They have joyful energy that is such a pleasure to be around. They are “old souls” and once you pick one up, it’s hard to put it down!

Tibetan quartz always has an enlightened, almost holy energy to it. It may be that it has absorbed the wonderful vibrations from its proximity to one of the holiest areas on the planet. Its energy is quite strong, and this is a wonderful Master Healer whose abilities are not limited by its physical manifestation. In other words, everything that can be ascribed by its physical attributes, they are only the tip of the iceberg!

A crystal with a point at each end is called double terminated (DT). It is believed that they have the ability to receive or transmit energy from both ends. They are used for alignment, patience, perseverance, protection, dreaming, and astral projection. Double terminated crystals strengthen energy flow, and are especially useful when you need to share or exchange energy between you and another person. Double terminated crystals are very important to people doing healing work for themselves or others.

A crystal that has pyramidal or triangular shaped symbols that are either engraved into or are raised on one or more of a crystal faces is called a Record Keeper (RK) or Recorder. These symbols are not easily seen and usually need to be searched out by looking at the crystal in a bright light while closely examining the faces. It is believed that the Record Keeper is one of the most sacred crystals because it holds the wisdom and knowledge of the universe. When a person is properly attuned to a Record Keeper, this knowledge is readily made available. This knowledge is ancient knowledge and contains profound secrets and esoteric knowledge of the whole of the Higher Consciousness. It takes an open mind and a pure heart to access this knowledge.

Rainbows occur when light is refracted causing a prismatic effect, usually along a plane or inclusions within a crystal. The refraction is often temperature sensitive causing the rainbow to appear and disappear. It is believed that these crystals exhibit the closest manifestation of pure white light that can be witnessed on the physical plane. Rainbow crystals are used during meditation to escort us into the realm of the pure white light and can bring depth and clarity to dreams, help manifest wishes, and overcome negativity to be able to love life in the present moment. Rainbows bring happiness. They help deal with negativity and help to maintain the constant awareness of love. Because of the rainbows, they produce the full spectrum of colors, the white light of healing and perfections being dispersed into the individual rays of the rainbow. Rainbow quartz can be used on all chakras.

A crystal that has a smaller crystal(s) that either penetrates and/or is lodged partially into the crystal with the other part protruding from the crystal is called a Bridge crystal. It is believed this crystal is quite beneficial when a person is striving to work with various aspects of spirituality or to heal childhood issues blocking growth. Additionally, these crystals are their best when the person is working on advanced metaphysical areas, and are attempting to share this knowledge with others seeking a spiritual path. This is the ultimate spiritual teacher's crystal.

Crystals with streaks of orange and yellow iron inclusions are known as golden healers. Occasionally the iron staining can give the whole crystal a beautiful golden hue. Golden healers are protective, healing, and aid in intuition and spiritual intellect. Golden Healers aid us in all healing endeavors. They assist in showing us how to correct any imbalance. Golden Healers have been used to assist one in attaining and maintaining contact with the spiritual worlds and to incite healing on all levels. It is an excellent stone for use in all healing situations and promotes the recognition of methods and techniques which will further aid recovery from all disorders.

Elestial formations are truly beautiful; they are complex in their simplicity. Most elestials are smoky; however you can find this formation in all types of quartz. Elestials are known for their complex layering and etched surfaces. Elestials crystallize in aqueous environments which create their fantastic formation. They are known by many different names, jacare quartz, skeletal quartz, and crocodile quartz just to name a few. Elestials can form as interlocking plates and complex etchings some say the formations look like the scales of a crocodile (hence the origins of that name). With skeletal elestials, you can see layers of crystals almost like the layers of an onion; they are often accented by clay inclusions.

Elestials can also have doorways and self-healed formations; they can appear as wands, scepters, overlays, and sometimes as a combination between an elestial and cathedral. I find them endlessly fascinating; it is so easy to get lost in their formations. While they have certain formations in common, there really is no such thing as a typical elestial.

As elestials form in water they have a strong emotional energy. Elestials are master healers and teachers who work on many levels. They work through the many layers of your body releasing toxins, dissolving obstacles and creating energy flow. Working with elestial crystals will bring an abundance of lessons and change! Elestial Quartz crystals used in body layouts will purge toxicity from the major organs into the bloodstream, from which they can then be released from the body by drinking plenty of water.

The translation for Elestial is “Crystal of the Angels” and thus has a strong link with the Angelic realm. One may retrieve information stored in Elestials by running your hands over the etching of the crystal. Before long your hands start moving on their own and you are reading the crystal much the same way as the blind use Braille language. It is best to clear the mind and have no expectations through this process.

Clear quartz is made up of silicon dioxide, the most abundant mineral on the planet. No wonder it is the most common tool in the mineral kingdom, as well as the most versatile. I like to call it the general practitioner of the crystal world as it works with all chakras. Clear quartz is also known as white quartz or milky quartz when it has an abundance of interior veils and planes. Often crystals will have a mixture of different clarities throughout the interior. Quartz crystals are graded on their clarity, luster, and overall condition of the stone, with the higher degrees of clarity being more valuable. It is interesting to note that although chemically the same, quartz from different regions vibrates with subtle differences. Quartz attracts and enables you to use more life force energy. Have it around you, on you, or in elixir form, in you! Quartz seeks to bring balance on all our bodies’ levels. Quartz has the ability to receive, store and send energy, this makes it a powerful manifestation tool.

Hold/gaze into the crystal, put your thought/need (what you wish to manifest) into the crystal, the crystal receives the thought (and the feeling behind the thought) then stores and transmits those thoughts and feelings into the ethers. Thus, even while you’re not thinking about that particular manifestation, the crystal is still putting it out. Thus drawing your manifestation towards you at a much greater rate than before. Power tools, you have to love ‘em!

Many refer to this process as programming; many books state that a crystal can hold only one program. They have just found a way to store terabytes of data into a single bubble that makes up the mist you see in the Quartz. My feeling is that Quartz crystals can in fact hold and run more programs than we could give in a life time! Quartz is one of the most flexible crystal tools around. It is very responsive to our intent, what you intend is what you get, to this point it is also one of the most powerful tools and should be treated as such.
