This family has a little bit of everything. Large areas of self healing, cathedral like formations and more. They have a joyful energy that is truly infectious!

Tangerine quartz is one of my favorites in the quartz family for its bright color and energy. They have great vitality that infuses your sacral chakra. This can spark creativity and aid studying as your sacral chakra is where you "digest" information as well as food. Tangerines have a fun loving energy, but knows how to be serious too. They are fantastic companions, healers and teachers.

A crystal with two points on a common base is called a twin crystal. You can tell a twin crystal from two crystals that are simply attached to each other, by the fact that both parts of a twin crystal are exactly parallel to each other, and have no boundary between them. It is believed the Twin crystal can generate positive energy toward improving a relationship. They can help you gain insight into the underlying problems in a relationship, and help work through them. This works for any kind of relationship, not only a romantic relationship. A twin with a rainbow can be very effectively used to project healing energy into a relationship or to keep a good relationship strong.

A crystal is considered self healed when a partial piece of crystal or a complete crystal has sustained damage, yet continues to grow afterwards. Self-healing comes in many guises, usually where a crystal has been severed from its original growing condition, but can also occur where crystals have been bumped and bruised too. A self-healed crystal can be identified by the intricate etchings and/or multiple faces which emerge from the damaged areas. These crystals aid in any type of self-healing—physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. Self-Healed crystals are highly compassionate with exceptional support for those working to overcome strong emotional issues or traumas. In addition they provide support when working to let go of negative addictions, be it a behavior, a person, or belief, food or chemical.

Tangerine quartz is a crystal which exhibits a tangerine color; the color appears to be on the outside of the crystal and has not been removable in the usual acid baths.
