I love the deep color of the Congo amethysts, and this one is no exception. You should see her glow in the light! A clear trigonic record keeper can be found on her face. I can almost make out record keepers in the dusting of surface features that gives her a matte appearance. There is a minor bruise near her tip it doesn't mar her presence in the least. She self stands too.

The Congo is known for its amazing malachite formations and beautiful citrine crystals and lightbraries. Amethyst crystals have been also been discovered recently in that region which are quite unique. We secured a small batch of these rare crystals, and there have been none to be found since. Like all new finds, we don't know if or when we'll find more. That's a shame because these crystals have a deep purple hue with rich dark phantoms, bright luster and many of them have some elestial-like formations as well as student crystals. Their energy is just incredible; they are robust teachers with many layers to their teachings. A main purpose is to help you identify your personal goals for this lifetime to keep you on your spiritual path. They help you understand why certain events happen and aid you to grasp the lessons that these events bring. They help you to work through your karmic debts and allow the old wounds to heal. It also said to be useful in treating a number of disorders including those of the digestive system, heart, nervous system, skin and hearing and to help provide relief from pain and to strengthen the immune system.

Amethyst may be used to remove radiation the body stores on the sides of the head...such as from computers, microwaves, cell phones, etc. Geodes of Amethyst are particularly good for this, just place the head next to it; you will then feel the radiation being drawn out. Place small pieces of amethyst on the 3rd eye and visualize yourself breathing in the color for total mental and emotional soothing. It's a very good technique to do in bed before going to sleep. It is an amazing all round healer and also a brilliant meditation crystal. Amethyst can be used for massage in wand, egg or sphere form. It makes a great elixir.
