At first glance, this quartz twin may not look like much, but first appearances can be deceiving. Old bruises that are healing that still show some scarring, with patches of matrix still clinging to it. The surface features obscure the interior which is filled with mist and planes. But look deep inside and you will see areas of clarity reflecting light and rainbows that reach the interior planes. The etchings tell a story of strength and endurance. A crystal with two points on a common base is called a twin crystal.
