Tiger iron is a beautiful combination of chatoyant golden tiger eye, red jasper and hematite. You can feel the metal content in this piece as it is heavy for its size. Although polished, there are a couple of natural areas that add texture to the piece. I love the striking patterns in this piece. The energy is very grounded in the root chakra. It helps to buffer you from the energy of others, helpful if you are an empath.

Tigers Eye is a beautiful form of chatoyant chalcedony that is a pseudomorph crocidolite. This gives the stone the beautiful bands of gold and orange that we know so well. It is usually polished to show off the beautiful colors. Tigers eye is related to pietersite and tiger iron (which also has hematite and red jasper). It balances your energy by stimulating you when exhausted, or helping you to slow down when you're over stimulated. Its energy is very grounding and protective.
