This crystal may not be much to look at first, but take a closer look. What at first appears to be damage is intricate etchings and small druzy crystals. The quartz has a soft gray hue and dark thin rutile like inclusions. It has a protective energy allowing the freedom to focus on the healing work at hand. He is a wise sage with much information to share. Be alert for his lessons, for they will appear in many guises.

We were excited to be introduced to a small batch of unusual quartz crystals from Alaska from one of our long time suppliers. We were told that they were rutilated, but upon seeing and feeling them we don't think they are ordinary rutiles. They have much the feel of the Zagi and are somewhat similar in appearance. Zagi quartz crystals are special due to the inclusions of rare earth minerals such as riebeckite and astrophyllite. These minerals help to give the crystals a timeless earth energy which connects you to the Earth and yourself. Although they are strong Earth crystals, they open you to the diving, awakening your third eye. They awaken your intuition and assist your psychic abilities including astral travel. They help you to gain confidence and hone your skills while providing protection. They teach balance and patience, helping you to keep a pace of development that does not overwhelm you. On a physical level they work with dysfunctions in the brain, such as learning disabilities like dyslexia. These wonderful crystals are from the Chets Mine, Wiseman/Coldfoot area of the Brooks Range in Alaska.

Rutilated quartz is formed when titanium rich quartz cools from high temperatures and pressures ease. Rutile crystals begin to form, often as fine metallic strands trapped within the quartz. Rutiles are found in an array of metallic colors, usually gold, silver and copper, but on occasion vibrant oranges or greens are found. Rutilated quartz has a strong electromagnetic energy and stimulates flow through your spinal cord and balances your electromagnetic system. This helps to alleviate pain and numbness while aiding cellular regeneration. I have used rutilated quartz to greatly alleviate back pain from a car accident. Its stimulating energy bolsters your physical energy. It also brings the thyroid gland into balance. Rutilated Quartz can awaken your intuition and enhance your spiritual awareness.

Clear quartz is made up of silicon dioxide, the most abundant mineral on the planet. No wonder it is the most common tool in the mineral kingdom, as well as the most versatile. I like to call it the general practitioner of the crystal world as it works with all chakras. Clear quartz is also known as white quartz or milky quartz when it has an abundance of interior veils and planes. Often crystals will have a mixture of different clarities throughout the interior. Quartz has the ability to receive, store and send energy, this makes it a powerful manifestation tool.

Hold/gaze into the crystal, put your thought/need (what you wish to manifest) into the crystal, the crystal receives the thought (and the feeling behind the thought) then stores and transmits those thoughts and feelings into the ethers. Thus, even while you’re not thinking about that particular manifestation, the crystal is still putting it out. Thus drawing your manifestation towards you at a much greater rate than before. Power tools, you have to love ‘em!

Many refer to this process as programming; many books state that a crystal can hold only one program. They have just found a way to store terabytes of data into a single bubble that makes up the mist you see in the Quartz.
