Practically one whole side of this crystal has intricate formations indicating self-healing. There are a few bumps and bruises on the faces but nothing that mars the beauty of this cathedral. The color is of soft gold and while it has a misty interior, patches of clarity can be found. The base has been cut so they will self-stand. Rainbows are visible at just the right angle. In fact as each day goes by the rainbows are quicker to show themselves. But don't be surprised if this one needs some time to recover from the trip, they really don't like traveling to much. Their is solidarity in the energy. Sticking together no matter what the situation, and seeing things through the end. They infuse one with determination to see projects come to completion. They have a determined energy that helps one overcome obstacles. They remind one that the "roadblocks" in life are changes for greater learning and understanding in life. They teach patience too and help one realize that many those who get one advance in life did not get it hand to them on a silver platter. They have a little bit of a tough love attitude. This is a beautiful citrine cathedral with amazing energy.

A crystal is considered self healed when a partial piece of crystal or a complete crystal has sustained damage, yet continues to grow afterwards. Self-healing comes in many guises, usually where a crystal has been severed from its original growing condition, but can also occur where crystals have been bumped and bruised too. A self-healed crystal can be identified by the intricate etchings and/or multiple faces which emerge from the damaged areas. Cathedral quartz often forms lesser points that frequently resemble turrets of medieval castles. Frequently they are highly etched and many have record keepers as well as trigonic record keepers. Cathedral quartz is associated with the higher realms and is a high vibrational crystal. They store an amazing amount of information. They work with you to open your higher consciousness. They keep one moving forward along their path, helping to prevent stagnation and regression. These crystals have gentle energy which is often very powerful. These crystals have doorways in them, more often than not, in their castling definition. To travel into the crystal, just gaze into the doorway, you will see it open and your consciousness will be drawn into the crystal. Natural citrine has long been one of our favorites of the quartz world. Iron inclusions in the quartz formations give rise to beautiful hues of yellow to yellow gold. Natural citrine stimulates the solar plexus and crown chakras assisting one to bring higher vibrational energies into the physical body. Visualizing bright white energy streaming into your solar plexus will boost its effect. The warmth of citrine has a soothing effect that counters anxiety and stress. Personally, I use citrine in conjunction with labradorite to help keep panic/anxiety attacks at bay.

Citrine is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth. It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body.
