This is such an amazing formation. The largest of the Zagis we have, it has the deep serenity one associates with sweeping mountain vistas. There is a sense of eternity in this formation, slow, abiding, and yet so complex that we can only dream of the potential. The thick matrix is dotted with black astrophyllite and riebeckite inclusions, and gives you a grounding sense of solidarity beneath your feet. The crystals that cover the face are so fine, they make me think of natural crystallized sugar. Acicular formations of black riebeckite are scattered among the glittering crystals. A healed shard of caramel and vanilla colored quartz crosses an expanse, much like it was bridging a canyon. There is a gorgeous and bright cognac colored quartz crystal near the base that has needles of riebeckite and other inclusions tracing through it.

The crystals from the Zagi Mountains of Pakistan, known as Astrophyllite quartz, are truly fascinating. They have unusual inclusions of riebeckite, astrophyllite and other rare earth minerals. These inclusions give most of the crystals a beautiful caramel glow, but the crystals can be startling clear or have a soft yellow glow. Our latest batch of these unusual crystals sits on a matrix of massive quartz which is streaked with riebeckite and other minerals.

Their energy is very high vibrational and very strong with an old wise energy. They give me the impression of the old man in the mountain. Their energy is timeless, connecting you to the earth while opening you to the divine energies. Their energy is not overwhelmingly grounding, but enough to keep you connected to the Earth and yourself. They activate the third eye awakening your intuition and assist your psychic abilities including astral travel. They help you refine your accuracy and bolster your confidence. Their energy helps to protect you spiritually and energetically. They teach balance and patience, helping you keep a pace of development that does not overwhelm you. Clear quartz is made up of silicon dioxide, the most abundant mineral on the planet. No wonder it is the most common tool in the mineral kingdom, as well as the most versatile. I like to call it the general practitioner of the crystal world as it works with all chakras. Quartz has the ability to receive, store and send energy, this makes it a powerful manifestation tool.

Hold/gaze into the crystal, put your thought/need (what you wish to manifest) into the crystal, the crystal receives the thought (and the feeling behind the thought) then stores and transmits those thoughts and feelings into the ethers. Thus, even while you’re not thinking about that particular manifestation, the crystal is still putting it out. Thus drawing your manifestation towards you at a much greater rate than before. Power tools, you have to love ‘em!

Many refer to this process as programming; many books state that a crystal can hold only one program.
