There is more than meets the eye with this quartz crystal. It is very rough quartz, covered in small inclusions of matrix and some mica plates. But what makes this piece amazing are all the tourmaline crystals. They are mainly rubellite, or pink tourmaline, but several have a deeper purple hue. There is also green tourmaline present and some of the crystals have both colors present. This spirit has a warm heart energy that spirals up towards the crown. It helps to align the heart and mind, when faced with indecision. It helps you to make more balanced decisions. Sometimes you need to get out of your head and let the heart lead the way.

Pink tourmaline is a stone of balance, both mentally and energetically. It balances the two sides of the brain to enhance creativity and healing. Tourmaline is said to facilitate healing powers and protect from all dangers occurring on the physical plane. In addition, pink tourmaline focuses on the crown and heart chakras bringing forth the synthesis of love and spirituality. It assists in achieving peace, understanding, awareness, love, and trust.
